For some reason I have always admired the RS60 model with GT Metallic and red interior
Prices seem to hold up very well and are rare
But is it worth £5000 over a normal 987 Boxster - that's my question as I have seen a one owner one at around £25000

I would pay a few extra£k and look for a 987.2 boxster with the better dfi engine!may prove cheaper in the long run and the RS 60 was only a run out special so only worth a few k more than equivalent 987.1 boxster

As above, nice spec on them but not worth £5k more. They got very good reviews when launched, but a good standard A with PSE would be just as good... (The RS60 exhaust is lovely...)

The RS60 only differs from a normal sports exhaust because of the round tips on the end...i sold mine the other week for £75, not £5k

I think the RS60 is a nice looking car with a big spec. IIRC some have ceramics. It would have been nice if they came with factory shortshift and an M030-like sports suspension option. I wouldn't pay £5k over the highest priced 987S though.

I wasn't sure, as its the same then its definitely not worth the extra!
