Er ....... please ignore the opening title ...... my mistake ...... wrong forum ...... smile

but if anyone wishes to give me any insights into running a 2009 Cayman S Sport ...... limited edition of 700 worldwide I would much appreciate it.

old style engine, over priced car atm imo , it's a gen 1 Cayman with options nothing more, they did do nice colours on them though, but most people would go for a 987.2 car , a much better car and better value for money.

You may find this thread from P9 useful although it ignores the potential for bore scoring which imo is possibly the biggest worry with the 987.1

I had one, it was a very low mileage in a very rare Viper green colour, it was a very enjoyable car that i owned, however being a Gen 1 car, there are pitfalls, namely the bore scoring, otherwise it is a very good car.

Yes I have decided against ....... they are a lot of money for a limited edition at the end of a production run of the Gen 1 ....... I think the Cayman R is Gen 2 ....... I would really love a GT4 but the price is much too strong for me that moment.
