981 blocked drainage, water in the cabin?

Hi, has anyone else had water in the cabin caused by blocked drainage? Seems like I might not be the only one. The drainage is blocked by road grit from under the car. Rain water can't escape and before you know it the cabin, off side, is soaking wet and the electrics start to have problems. Design fault maybe? From what I understand the service ensures the drainage is cleared out to stop this happening, if you are lucky that is!
