Anyone gone from a Boxman to a Macan?
Discussion
I haven't, but I can see circumstances in the next couple of years where it become a practical option and the 987 spyder goes.
I would like to stick with the porsche brand and I do like the look of the macan. There is the odd moment I actually think it might be a better option now, as it would probably be used more. I think you just have to accept that it isn't going to be a sports car but not too bad for an suv or compared to other choices.
There might also be the smaller saloon coming along in the next year or two to consider.

And, if you have what are your thoughts?
Huge Mistake, period?
'Forced' by circumstance but not too bad?
Compromises too great and so another vehicle/vehicle type altogether?
etc. etc
For a near 2 ton SUV the Macan is very capable, BUT unless you actually need 4wd or off road ability, or are wedded to the Brand, surely there are more sporting alternatives. Hot hatches, hot saloons or if you need more space hot estates?Huge Mistake, period?
