E-Cayman / Boxster

Anyone else noticed in the Porsche Shop there are models for an E-Boxster and E-Cayman?? Has something slipped through the net or is it an early April fool??

I've noticed that too, it's an old concept model from years ago, now available in the shop.

I suspect its nothing but a PR marketing move to counteract the "issues" surrounding recent emissions manipulations.
Electric powered Porsches are inevitable but I don't expect them before the new platform is out.

They may go for the low hanging fruit which would be a plugin hybrid model like the Golf GTE. Batteries in the front boot, terrible CoG/weight balance, completely unrealistic CO2 emissions, bonkers pricing and no electric range worth mentioning. Yay!

Thanks for the heads up guys, I'd seen a few E-Boxsters on eBay but the E-Cayman had escaped my notice up till now.
