I've noticed that too, it's an old concept model from years ago, now available in the shop.

I suspect its nothing but a PR marketing move to counteract the "issues" surrounding recent emissions manipulations.
Electric powered Porsches are inevitable but I don't expect them before the new platform is out.
They may go for the low hanging fruit which would be a plugin hybrid model like the Golf GTE. Batteries in the front boot, terrible CoG/weight balance, completely unrealistic CO2 emissions, bonkers pricing and no electric range worth mentioning. Yay!
