Hello All,

A friend is considering 2.7 as next car and asked advice - I don't know very much about Boxsters and so would be very grateful for any links to buyers guide (have searched but to no avail), if people could assist sonar

Himself is looking at following car, is this reasonable value in people's opinions?

Thank you for help and Merry Christmas smile

Not a Buyer's Guide as such, but you may find some useful pointers in here:

It's a very basic spec, quite high miles and out of warranty - so it would have have to be at the bottom of the price range for the car. Still worth considering if you are happy without any toys (or even phone preparation) and can negotiate a decent dealer warranty. A better spec car a year younger with lot less miles might cost £5000 more.

If you know the lowish spec is ok for you the only thing wrong with that car is the price seems a bit high. 5-10% can be achieved off of new prices.....

Given that most cars depreciate about 50% in their first three years, and that car is bang on average mileage at 12,000 p.a., it looks a tad expensive.

Bear in mind you can still buy a brand new one for less than £40,000 - so Mr Porsche dealership reckons that car has cheated gravity and only depreciated about 30%.
