I was amazed that I managed to order a new Boxster Spyder a week before Christmas - a customer dropped out & I was lucky enough to have contacted this particular OPC at the right time. Given how easily the allocation all sold out for these rare cars & Porsche/OPC's don't have to try hard to sell them in the first place at full price were any of you lucky to get any freebies thrown into the deal?

They effectively gave me a £20k backhander to drive it away, better than mats, flaps and a full tanks of unleaded.

I wouldn't expect anything free with the current asset bubble/cheap money etc. Once the economy enters a recession again, then this thread would be alight!

This will be my 5th Porsche - but first new one through an OPC. Even so, over the years I have had loads of freebies from Porsche - which must amount to £1000s. All without even buying a new Porsche!! Before PEC was open Porsche use to use Millbrook & would invite customers etc along to celebrate the launch a new model. So I have been to three new launch's, a new 997 GTS for the weekend, a new Macan for the weekend & a freebie PEC day in the CGTS earlier this year.

We all know OPC's don't really have to try hard to sell these rare cars but If I can't even get a free set of mats & a full tank of petrol with the Spyder then I must be a really crap sales guy.

Petrol - you will get a full tank - which you pay for in the OTR charge - mats cost extra smile

Only 25% discount? You clearly didn't negotiate hard enough!
