Cat D negatives

Looking for a keeper, what are the long term negatives of buying a cat D

Hmm dubious about the amount of damage listed for it to be a Cat D. My similarly specced car had much more damage after going into a field last year and wasnt written off. Mine was a 59 plate and had 26k of rebuild but still wasnt written off.
