987 wheels

Hi,

Been offered a spare set of wheels for my partners 987.1 - 2.7 Boxster.

Can anyone help me to say if the specs are ok and will fit.

7J-17 ET55 - front

8.5J-17 ET48 - rear

It's only for a spare set. (Maybe winter wheels)

They will fit ok but may look a bit lost under the arches. Offset on standard 18's is F 57 R 43.

According to the parts bible http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/originalparts... the original sizes were:
6.5J17 et55 and 8.0j17 et40
I am not sure which size spacer you would need for the rears. My logic would be to keep the centre line correct with 8mm and stick to the original tyre sizes.
From http://www.tyres-pneus-online.co.uk/tyre-equivalen... we see that the 235 width tyres fit both sizes ok.
