Morning all,

Thinking about adding rear speakers to my Cayman R. before I contact OPC for a quote, would the wiring be there if the there is no speakers there? (ie, one wiring loom for all cars)I don't want the car being pulled apart if there is not, as I know there would be a rattle once it was clipped back together.

I remember a few years ago my MK1 GT3 had all the wiring there and it was just a case of buying the speakers.

Thanks in advance.

I've been wondering exactly the same about my Cayman. Also, which speakers would you use to be a reasonable balance with the OEM ones at the front.

I suspect not as all vehiles are built to specific order/spec now. Ten years or so ago, the wiring for all options was in the loom but with the advent of 8-9k tonne copper and CAN BUS wiring the loom is now specific to the car or at best as a few add on looms..........
