Hi Everyone

Just had my wheels refurbished and colour changed. I was planning on going bright silver but have gone with a black base and a sparkle bright silver over the top, not everyone's cup of tea but I'm pleased with the result.

Cost £280 for the 4 including the centre caps being coded the same colour, tyre removal, refit, balancing, valves and putting the wheels back on the car. I was going to go with Lepsons but I had a tour of a place local to me and was impressed with their work. All done in house and they also had a hunter 4 wheel alignment machine, so I got that done at the same time. If I change my mind about the colour I can always get them altered.

Lots of pics here, some in the shade and some in the sun.

Sparkle-tastic!

Where did you have them done then? The availability of the Hunter kit is a definite bonus I agree!

Powder coated and baked or wet painted?

How long did they have the car for?

Probably best if I refer to their description on how the refurbishment process works smile

I have winter and summer wheels so I wasn't in a rush. Left the summers with them for a week. Not sure how quick they can turn them around if needed though. I imagine that as they specialise in alloys and tyre sales too they'll probably be able to sort a loan set out.

I'm toying with the idea of a colour change for mine. But that's probably for a different thread.

Looking good...nice colour against the car.

I must admit I'd never have wheels wet painted over powder coating as the powder coat is a lot less susceptible to chipping.

I debated both options, I really liked the look of painted finish though. I've had them protected with the full range of these products, so fingers crossed they'll keep looking good for a while smile
