Hi All,

New to porsche so don't know much about them. I'm currently looking at a Porsche Cayman 3.4 S from 2008 with 50k on the clock, it is a CAT D but has been repaired by a specialist that i know and trust. He has offered it for 15K but i'm not sure what its worth, and how much it would be worth when i come to sell it, does anybody have any help they can give me?

Thanks

James

CAT D are worth 50% of the cost of a 2008 car imo (some will disagree of course but that's my take on CAT D's) , I myself would not go near a CAT D, resale is hard as nails.

Worth £10k at best if it were my own money, so your choice.

My local OPC only offered £15k in part exchange for my 2007 CS, 48K miles and fully optioned, so on that basis a Cat D is too expensive.

It depends on what the damage was and how it has been fixed. There is cat d and there is cat d!

But, given the huge choice of Boxsters around, buying a straight one will probably end up achieving a lower ownership cost.
