Just working through some of the problems the previous owner of the Unicorn left for me (not BubblesNW I hasten to add)

It transpires I have a buckled rear wheel. Have had it to the local engineering place and they have made it 95% OK but its not perfect. Other than ringing an OPC is there any other source for the 19" Cayman R/Boxster Spyder wheels?

I'm guessing they are nudging a grand each?

Obviously you've got your old stalwarts like Suncoast and Pelican Parts (if they will ship to the UK, and if it's worth it once HMRC have taken their share). Ebay sometimes throws up things like this, though rarely (if ever) in pristine condition. And for a new wheel you could well be looking at nearly twice what you've suggested.

Crikey. New set of Judd wheels then. Might have to bide my time for a single to crop up somewhere.

If I were you, I would call my local OPC tomorrow. I think the wheels are supplied by Porsche in the silver finish, with added costs for painting.

I've heard there is full set for sale for just over a grand in the classifieds section of 911 & Porsche World. You'll need to get a copy of the mag to find the details.

There's these but no price. Photo was taken late February but i think it was 911&PW.
If they turn out to have been only 1250 I'll kick myself for not having phoned up then. Forgot all about it until I saw this thread. When I had a Spyder my understanding was that £4K for a set was the going rate.

Thanks looks like the same chap. I have put an email and message in on the phone. If I get hold of them I'll hold the other 3 as spares if anyone else has an issue and just split them at cost price.
