Walter Röhrl drives 987 Spyder
Discussion
Walter Röhrl mentioned an interview that he recently bought a 987 Spyder. I thought that's remarkable because the 981 was already out when he did.

PFF: Which three Porsche models are your absolute favorites that you would want in privately in your garage?
WR: The first thing certainly a 911 Turbo S, then a Cayman GT4 and thirdly a Boxster 987 Spyder. The latter is already in my garage. Although it would be better to own it somewhere where the sun shines more often because of the special roof, when I had the opportunity to buy one, I bought it myself. For my taste a great car.
He also backtracked on his 718 statements, says that he doesn't use the internet at all and has some other interesting comments.WR: The first thing certainly a 911 Turbo S, then a Cayman GT4 and thirdly a Boxster 987 Spyder. I have been saying the 987.2 Spyder has no equals for the last 4 years and is prob the best car Porsche has made in the last 10 years.
I know you love yours with a passion, and I genuinely thought the Spyder was a fantastic little thing (FOR THE MONEY) but bloody hell.. it's not as exciting as a Porsche 'gt' product. Obviously IMO. Phooey said:

Try a midnight run roof off in the summer, you look up and see the stars and you get the full exhaust note.I a, not a soft top man really but no coupe can give you those special drives.
