Walter Röhrl drives 987 Spyder

Walter Röhrl mentioned an interview that he recently bought a 987 Spyder. I thought that's remarkable because the 981 was already out when he did.

He also backtracked on his 718 statements, says that he doesn't use the internet at all and has some other interesting comments.

I have been saying the 987.2 Spyder has no equals for the last 4 years and is prob the best car Porsche has made in the last 10 years.

GT4 well goes without saying and also the Cayman R gets a mention.

Well looks like me and Walter know what cars are nice to drive.
No talks of GT3's !

Nice to see he has the gt4 and that is my choice of coupe whereas a 987spyder would be my porsche soft top choice but as mentioned much better for sunnier climates!

I know you love yours with a passion, and I genuinely thought the Spyder was a fantastic little thing (FOR THE MONEY) but bloody hell.. it's not as exciting as a Porsche 'gt' product. Obviously IMO.

Try a midnight run roof off in the summer, you look up and see the stars and you get the full exhaust note.
I a, not a soft top man really but no coupe can give you those special drives.
