Hi All,

I usually don't post on here, but i have a question that I need a fairly prompt answer to.

My MIL has just had a bit of a messy split and been left with a car, it is a Silver Caymen 550 anniversary with 65K and a 5 number private plate, looks nice and clean to me.

She wants to sell the car but has had nothing on ebay. Supposed friend is willing to take it off her but his mechanic mate seems to think the clutch is going (she has had no problems with and I am not trusting him).

Now they have offered her £7k for it as a favor. She is currently unemployed and needs the money. Is she being ripped off? I want to feel more secure before putting my oar in.

Many thanks

Z

post a link for the advert, so all can see and make a collective view on the price

From http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds?Category=us... I would suggest at least doubling that price.

I will ask her about personal mail too, in regard to purchase.

There's no such thing as a Cayman 550 Anniversary. There is a 986 Boxster 550 Anniversary. £7k is at the low end of what these normally advertise for.
