Porsche are quoting me £315 to upgrade the maps on my 2011 Boxster Spyder. A lot of cash for what is free via google maps !
Anyone know of any other options ?

Double check to see if the PCM update offer is still available - it was £150 and just happened to come with free maps updates as a result.

Does anyone know if this is still available & also what the updates include?

My car is 12 plate, so may have the 2011 maps - more interested in the full post code (7digit) search though

I had my 2011 Cayman sat nav updated in February and it cost me £249. Aside from the full postcode entry and updated maps (in that wherever I've been in the UK and France has been correct so far) I didn't notice anything else different. It updates the PCM software version as well. Took Porsche half a day to do it!

Thanks John
Anything else different about the PCM - features wise?

On some of the older PCM's you could use bluetooth for music. It was removed on the post 2011 models I think until the 981 came out.
