Airbag deactivation GT4

Has anyone had an air bag deactivation added to their GT4 with LWB?

Porsche have told me that they can't fit this with the LWB. Has anyone gone to an Indy and got this done?

Does anyone know what the issue with LWB and the deactivation is?

No OPC will do it and I got variable answers when I tried validating the answer. Both my R and GT4 have LWBs and as they're different seats, I tried on both. I tried specifying at order on the GT4 given my experience with the R and was told it wasn't available. The rest of the answer I was given I just dismissed as a poorly educated guess.

Given that I only wanted the option so the dog could ride shotgun on local trips, I wasn't that motivated to pursue it. Be interested if you get an official answer.

Does that mean I can't deactivate the passenger airbag and wedge my son into the seat? doh!
