GT cars - harness 'expiry date'

Finally had the harnesses fitted to my GT4
Was surprised to see that they 'expire' in 2020; obviously I realise they don't last forever, and that for an item like this safety is everything, but a little miffed that I'll only get 3.5 years out of them (occaisional track use) until I'm sure Porsche will insist they are replaced to maintain the warranty....

The expire date is only for FIA racing regs. Makes no difference for track days and doubt the OPC will care about them for any warranty.
For the odd road use and TD's they wont suddenly fall apart and become unusable in 2020
ETA. My 997.1 RS still has the original harness fitted. They have been used so little they look like new.
