Hi and congrats on getting such a superb first Porsche.

I'm guessing you paid a premium - would you be prepared to share by how much?

hi trev450

i did pay a slight premium of course but i just fell in love with the colour. I'm usually quite thrifty but heart ruled over head.

Colour works well on the GT4. A doctor chappy on here has the same, unless it is that flipped one.

i did see the car on here before. i think the member was is-uk. the dealer said he was very knowledgeable about his cars especially porsches which made me feel a bit more confident as it was my first purchase

Very nice, love the colour. What's the spec? Brakes, CS, seats etc?

Congratulations - that is the most impressive entry into the brand I've ever seen - you've basically bagged a proper drivers car in the most amazing colour - fair play to you - I passed up on a GT4 , but if I could have got one with PTS , this would have been the one - bloody epic . Enjoy (and remember to get those tyres warm before going for it) smile

Thanks very much and the advice on the tyres. Like I said its my first Porsche so any advice is more than welcome. I'm still at the stage of not going over 4000rpm but I gave it a little tickle on the way to Southampton and it was interesting to say the least.

Advice - tricky as I have no idea what you've had before - but I think the main thing is not to read any threads on values and use it whenever you can smile I'm very jelious , such a stunning car - good work smile

This is my first car of this nature. My wife has a q7 and I have a range rover but there was something about the gt4 that did It for me.. I also agree with the fact a car should be used and no matter how nice it is it is still just a car. The only diffrence is the fact I will only drive it in the dry and nice days. Whatever the value is when I sell it that is what it is. why buy something if your not going to enjoy it.
