I've just checked the last 2 MOT's on a potential purchase (987 2011) and both MOT's have advisories on outer edge tyre wear.

Is this a normal trait of a Boxster ?

Suggest you also have a close look at the wheels for signs of kerbing/damage as this is the most common cause of the toe being knocked out.

Or to be more accurate, your toe is out (ie wrong) but "in". Toe in produces wear on the outside of the tyre, toe out on the inside.
