GT4 vs SPYDER power

Anyone figured out how the GT4 has a higher output than the Spyder . Is it just the ECU and does the difference actually exist ?

I've wondered this myself? Porsche have always had small (often just 5hp) difference between Boxster and Cayman. Can the output of an engine be fixed that precisely?

I've had a few people comment that it's 'probable' that no one bothers to prepare two different engines for the different cars and that it is 'likely' that the same engine is (was) used in both the Spyder and the GT4.

Just an ecu timing pull both goto the same bhp when remapped which if you own one and it's a keeper seems a no brainer to do to get >400bhp
