Odd problem on 987 PSE
Discussion
So the S has started sounding like the exhaust is blowing. Had it up on the ramps and although one of the header flanges looks a bit iffy I can't detect a leak anywhere on it.
The other thing I noticed was that there's water dripping from the bottom of the PSE flaps. Do these have a seal to replace that might also cure the horrible noise?

Hi Jon, Google 'Porsche 987 pose valve' and there's quite a lot on broken actuators. This one could be the problem and cure...

Thats an interesting one. The note does change when you press the button. How do you check the position of the valves?
The note may well change as one of your valves only could be moving or they could both be moving but only part way.Lay on the floor under the back of the car with engine running and look up inside the bumper for the valves, the actuator rod will be sticking out, get somebody else to press the PSE button and check and see if it moves, then do the same for the other side.
