any one know how to turn off the central locking alarm beep ?

I thought it only beeped if you leave something open.

I think a double beep indicates a fault?

My 981 doesn't beep on lock or unlock.

From what I've just read elsewhere, disabling a non-fault beep is a dealer mod. Or you remove the plug from the alarm horn but then you have no audible alarm. Could invalidate insurance too.

Could be wrong. Call your OPC Monday?

will check everything is lock. Doors, front boot, rear boot, glove box, centre arm rest.

anything else you think i need to check ?

have checked everything but still getting the beep. anything else i can do before taking it into my local OPC ? is it a common issue ?

had this for a few months in mine - even took to dealers they couldnt sort. Culminated in alarm going off (well non audible - lights flashing). Cleaned the boot hatch connections with neat vodka - sorted
