i have been having trouble with a battery drain on my 987 boxster with a bose sound system. After many hours of fuse pulling it appears to be the bose amp causing the draw.Pulling the fuse cures the problem, could anyone point me in the right direction as i am now stuck.

I had a similar battery drain issue recently; I found a large button behind the glovebox which held off the microswitch

Hi, I have traced the battery draw ,it appears to be the Bose amp unit under the bonnet. I have measured the draw with my multimeter and disconnecting the relevant fuse has cured the problem. I don't know where the fault lies on theBose unit but i am just happy to have a car that never has a flat battery. Sod the radio, hope this helps you.
