Boxster (981) Windscreen Fan Blower query

Have recently bought a 981 Boxster and wonder if you can help me with the following Windscreen fan/blower issue.
Every time I select/push the Windscreen button, the fan blower always blows at maximum speed and also at the High Temperature setting.
When I push/press the buttons to reduce the temperature and the blower speed, nothing happens and the fan remains at max and the temperature remains at high.
Grateful if you can help me with this.

Think this might be a "feature". Mine does the same, so i switch that off and use the UP arrow button for the blower and then you can choose temp and fan speed.

Press the windscreen button again to switch it off.

Then continue as normal.

The button has the same function on the 987. It's only there to put everything on max to de-mist (or de-ice) the windscreen. As said above press again to turn it off when the screen is clear. I think pressing the auto button on the climate control unit will also override it (can't remember at the moment as it's been a while since I've needed to de-mist the screen).
