I've just bought a 2006 Cayman S (you're welcome).

The car's spent all of it's life in Edinburgh being serviced by Porsche and then by a Porsche specialist. I'd like to find a Porsche specialist a bit closer to home.

I've had a look at the "specialists" thread in the General forum but the closest one to me listed (Lakeside Engineering) don't appear to be aware that Caymans exist, at least not according to their website.

Given that it's a 10 year old car I don't think it's worth "upgrading" (in service stamp terms) to an actual Porsche Centre. So would anyone like to recommend a specialist in my area?

There's nothing wrong with the car at the moment and it's not due a service for some time, just planing ahead.

Thanks

WillS.

I often spam the board with this https://specialists.porsche.lol - I made it to try and keep track of specialists I was reading about. Should cover your area.

Northway or Nine Excellence.

GT One were good but always expensive in my experience although it was a long time ago.

I've been using Eporsch since 2012. They do a great job on the regular servicing as well as sorting for MOT, mods etc. Their sales unit used to be next door to GT One and Dean who runs the workshop used to do a similar role for GT One.

OPC Brooklands had my 993 turbo for its last service - realistic service pricing, I was allowed to use my own oil and a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team.

That was my experience as well. Very good, but knew how to generate chunky bills!

GT One rebuilt the engine on my 6.GT3. Excellent customer contact throughout the build process and they did a good job of managing costs. A good blend of brand professionalism/quality with personalised service which you certainly won't get at an OPC.

Thanks all for the suggestions, I think I've got enough of a choice now!
