At service geo was checked and apparently all wheels are pointing in different directions and angles...................

Strange that it should leave the factory like that.....................allegedly

8k of non rally stage motoring so surely not knocked out of kilter? No real tyre 'witness wear' but OPC complementary printout shows all red and out of spec.

So, who to redeem the situation in't norf? Far norf, but not into the home of the Krankie.

Are OPC to be trusted with this sort of job? and why is it (apparently) so far out?

Others on here have said that Porsches aren't always set up accurately from the factory. I bought mine with 700 miles on the clock, so can't be sure why both front ( a bit) and rear (a lot) on mine were out. Certainly worth checking. Worth paying OPC premium? Not convinced unless you feel the supplying dealer has some liability - difficult to prove I suspect.

The important part is 'any competent alignment shop' or words to that effect. I have not needed alignment on anything for years and certainly not on something that has adjustability built into vritually every part of the suspension. I guess it bend over time.

Hey OP - out of interest, was this something the OPC did proactively at the service or did you ask them to have a look?

Certainly no indication on mine that it might need geo, but if I can get them to do it under next service (with no charge) then may consider it.

what is a service geo ?

it takes longer to get a car set up on a rig straight over moving 3 bolts to alter it !!!

Never seen or heard of a service geo, to then tell you it's not good, and not bother changing any thing !

My fault. Misleading due to a lack of punctuation. Perversely, one of my pet hates.

At service, geo was checked. Actually I think it was MoT time rather than service. They checked it without a prompt.
