Spanish gearbox is irrelevant.
An awful lot of car conversations make me cringe - contrasting stitching springs to mind.
I feel no particular bond with people who make the same choice of car as I do - most make their choice for different reasons (Porsches are a prime example) - see above.
Revving engines in tunnels isn't my thing - same reason sports exhausts aren't my thing - see above.
