987 leak into front footwell - not drain holes!
Discussion
I have just started to get a sporadic leak into the front footwells of my 2005 987, a relatively small amount of water comes into the passenger footwell on a sharp right turn, and a smaller amount still comes into the driver footwell on a sharp left.
I immediately checked the drain holes, but all four are clear.
The large grommet that separates the passenger compartment from the battery section isn't in place (I can't get it back in), but there is no water in the battery section anyway and the area around the grommet hole is bone dry.
Has anyone had similar and would be able to advise where the water is likely to be collecting?

Condensate drain from the airconditioning unit.
Remove the foam trim under the dash in the passenger footwell - 2 plastic screws.
There you will see the plastic base of the AC unit with a pipe and rubber elbow at the RHS. This will be loose or blocked.
Thanks, will look at this tomorrow.Remove the foam trim under the dash in the passenger footwell - 2 plastic screws.
