I would like to buy a gen 2 boxster 987 but am undecided about whether the black edition is worth the extra money vs a boxster S (£25000 vs £28000) for a 30000-40000 miles car
Equipment levels are better but will they depreciate less or will an equally well specced normal S be better value.? Considering they are 6 -7 years old and about £40-50000 new they seem to have kept their value well vs Bmw and mercedes competitors.
Cheers Nick

Have you had a black car before?

What colour is the S, and does it have any options the Black doesn't?

Just wondering whether the black is worth the premium and if it will retain its value.
Had a black golf GTI and it was difficult to keep clean.
I suppose the rule is to buy on condition and mileage rather than be too fussy about colour and exact specs. Never driven a PDK before vs a manual.

black ed is a nice model, you get Spyder wheels and a power hike, not easy to find low miles manuals though.

I had 3 Black Editions in total, make sure you select one with the (PSE) Porsche Sports Exhaust....
