Good to see they used the nicer 981 body, and in the best colour too. Then again I guess they would for a marketing exercise. wink

What a horrific shame a lovely car turned into a washing machine

I can understand the argument over sounds with 981 vs 718 (previous BGTS owner) but don’t you find the styling looks a bit dated on the 981? Every time I see one I think how poorly the front and rear lights are aging.

Nope, I still think it looks like a mini hypercar!

In comparison, I think the 718 has a bloated and fussy rear end paired with a duckbill nose.

Styling opinions are very much a personal taste thing smile

I'm a sucker for the light on the 718... I love that technical look but I don't look at my 981 and wish I had the 718 at all. I certainly don't feel it looks dated but understand some will. I'm not particular swayed by new things simply because they are new or better tech... That's not a swipe at anyone at all, we have whatever we have for our own reasons...
It's will be interesting to see where Porsche go with hybrid though.... pure electric though. That Sunday morning drive just would not be the same.

Now you see, I purposely stayed away from the F4T v F6 thing as it isn't the only reason I'm not in a 718 wink
Though I agree the 718 is a great looking car, overall I prefer the 981.

No comment, but a side by side for you to compare. (No... I haven't bought a 718!)...

I think my personal preference would be the front of the 981 CGTS and the rear of the 718S. Can someone build me one of those? biggrin
