Has anyone done this?

I'm thinking to paint mine in the body colour - but should I be worried about rattles and squeaks upon refitting..

Anyone looked into this already?

I've always wondered if painting of the roll cage could of been specified when ordering new.

Is it easy to get it out and in?

And to the question, I can't imagine that it will generate any squeaks on reinstallation.

Wasn’t the GT4 cage fitted by the OPC rather than the factory?

If so, the OPC might be the best contact

Couldn't find it

I'll give the OPC a call and see if it's something they're willing to undertake for a reasonable cost

I think you'd need to be really careful in picking your colour looking at that.

Yeah - I prefer body colour on cages as opposed to a contrast colour

No worries - I could recommend a body colour cage as mentioned above.

The traditional cage colours on track Porsches tend to be black, white, and red iirc.
