Durametic or other software?

I was thinking about purchasing this tool so I could take it with me when viewing Caymans. Looks like a good option for checking for over revs and reading the sensors that a regular OBD tool cannot get to.

i use Carly for Porsche.
really straighforward but with limited features but it costs 110quid
u have revs, average speed and mileage and... that is it...

You could try Carista. I was a beta tester for them and they intended to support Caysters fully. That seems to have fallen by the wayside now, but it might be worth exploring with them what current level of support they offer for the models of interest. Would work out much cheaper if they do what you want.
