Who is not picking their new car up because of the weather
Discussion
I got mine
Last night, I woke up more times than I care to remember because I was so excited. Each time, I took a look outside and my heart sang every time it was clear, and sank every time it resembled a bad night in Siberia.
In the end, although my local roads were terrible, the main routes were pretty clear and I got to the dealer with no drama. Well, not counting the 4x4 drivers whose moment of glory had arrived and most of whom were hurtling around like big fat rampaging molluscs while the rest of us crawled along at 25mph.
I'm intoxicated by the car. It's my first properly posh automobile, and sitting here unable to just go out and drive because of this utterly gank weather is deeply frustrating. I feel like a boy with an excellent toy on Christmas morning but with no batteries and nowhere open to buy any. Other old gits might remember such times....
I keep looking outside to make sure it's still there.
Hope you all get yours soon.
