Grounding point under bonnet?
Discussion
Hi all, I have bought a trickle charger for my boxster and according to the instructions the negative connection should be attached to the block or similar.
Does anyone know if there is a grounding point under the bonnet.
Or is it ok just to connect to the negative terminal on the battery?
Thanks

On my Spyder one on wiper mounting (drivers side of vehicle) clearly marked and another bolt hole on near side that’s less obvious. I put a stud in the latter and use this as it avoids stretching the conditioner cables. A good thread somewhere on here about why it’s advisable not to connect direct to battery terminals.
