Boxster 986 S gearbox out - what other jobs?

My 2004 Boxster S 986 failed it's MOT on brake line corrosion, which has meant my mechanic has had to drop out the gearbox to replace them.

I've already asked him to change the clutch whilst the gearbox is out.

Is there anything else you would recommend?

Have a look at the IMS bearing. Also consider rear main crank oil seal and dual mass flywheel and the guide sleeve that the clutch release bearing slides on as they can wear.

AOS is easier with the trans out. Trans mounts. Inspect axle boots.
