Grilles for side vents - Porsche recall

Just got a letter from Porsche tto book my car in with my dealer to have grilles fitted to the side air intake vents on my 718S. Apparently people have been chucking fag butts out of the window while driving, they have been sucked into the air intakes and smouldered causing damage to the engine compartment. Not a smoker myself so not applicable to me but we all get grilles fitted - presumably like the Rennsport ones I had been thinking of having fitted anyway but are not normally acceptable under warranty - I wonder if Porsche will be ok with them now ??
