Why does the UK configurator only show the S versions of the Cayman and Boxster?

You mean the base and also the GTS discontinued ? I doubt it. More likely I would imagine is down to the shambles that is WLTP testing and that the others will appear later.

But why are both base and GTS models still configurable in Germany and France and on the international site? WLTP has a much bigger impact in France (the emissions tax - "malus" is massive)

All models back again, but only PDK.

I'd read somewhere that only PDK going forward.

So you'll need a manual to reverse?

Was at Porsche South London on saturday and the sales guy there said order books had only just reopened for the Cayman, but at present its auto only.

He did say manual will be offered, but they had no idea when they would be available.

Seems like the engine regs are causing a nightmare.

Brace yourself folks, looks like VAG will be lopping off another cylinder to get the 718 through ever tighter Euro emissions rules, wonder how the market would react to a 3 cylinder Boxster? Imagine the mayhem on the forumslaugh

Thank you for the clarification. I am not interested in the 718, but might jump in when that's replaced with the next model....whenever that maybe.

It's all gone out of sync with the Caymans these days. I have the 981...I see the 718 as being a facelift with a new engine. I assume a completely new replacement should arrive late next year? But God knows.

Might just buy a 981 GT4 and keep that for ever. Nothing really interests me anymore.....
