I live in quite a rough area, what is the Boxster's roof like in terms of keeping thieves out?

I've never had a soft top before and from some of the old Boxster roofs (back 10 years) look like thin fabric.. easy to get into.

I don't think that you can regard ANY soft top as secure! Given the size of the knives some thugs carry around these days !!

as with everything, if they want to get in they will. However, 981 roofs are multi layered and very secure IMHO.

Hopefully my 7 foot locked gate and steering wheel lock will keep the bds out. I live in such a rough area that a BMW M4 costs 2k to insure.. but this Boxster GTS is only 900 quid haha.

Because roof security is just as valid as the other precuations I have taken. Thanks for your pointless reply.
