Ladies and Gents,

At my last service the specialist independent stated 'wheel bolts corroded, danger of wheel coming loose'

I thought yeah yeah .... but decided to have a look myself and they are actually pretty bad. The bolt shoulders on a few bolts (approx. one per wheel) are really heavily corroded and laminating / spalling.

What do people think to these replacements?

I'd play it safe, to be honest. Those look to have weird seat design.

There is a bit more safety buying from here in my opinion:

The titanium set from Design 911 for £200 would be my go to.

I agree. Go for the standard ones, I'm sure they'll last for the rest of the time you have the car. Those ebay ones will look bit bling too!

Seat design ok fine for the ebay ones. I've just fitted a set complete with matching locking bolts. Design and quality far superior than originals.

I'm not paying £200 for a set of titanium bolts. Waste of money surely?!

I was considering replacing with Febi standard ones the the finish is pretty poor and they corrode quite quickly?

I know the Ebay ones are a little too shiny but I'm a bit of a tart so would hope they'd stay looking fresher/less rusty for longer.

Thanks, I was hoping somebody would offer an opinion that's used them.

The tech direct eBay seller ones are fine as long as you have the correct Lith and seat etc. Been on my car since 2013/14.

I'm going to use Cayenne wheel nuts, the shoulder isn't made of aluminium on them and you'll get a proper Porsche locking wheel nut to match.

I'd get a set from d911 if I were you, only a bit more dear, that ebay super chrome will peel in no time. Many many options on D911 too.

I bought 5mm spacers and need longer bolts, I'm shopping for d911 ones right now.

Also, going to get this..

It depends how regularly the wheels come off (and if you're doing it or someone else) but i'd be tempted to go to studs and nuts if you are replacing the bolts anyway and run spacers. It's a pain lining it all up otherwise.
