981 brake MC upgrade

Hi

Has anyone upgraded the brake master cylinder on their 981 to the 991 GT3 version? I am considering this modification but would like to know if it has a noticeable effect on the firmness and feel of the brake pedal?

I did this as part of upgrading to Girodisks and Ferodo pads. The total change felt better in terms of feel but how much is attributable to each element I can’t say.

You need to be careful with the GT3 part as they changed MC design around early 2014. Go to the TRW site or OPC and check VIN to see whether you need the pedal or MC activated brake light part.
