Hi all,

Does anyone know this car or maybe the owners on here, seems a good deal due to higher mileage, just hasn’t sold for a good amount of time.Just wondering am I missing something bar the mileage and the non dealer history I’d guess...

It doesn't have the flappy paddle steering wheel from what I can see, which might put off buyers.

Most cars depreciate about 50% in their first 3 years of life. That one's 6 years old and has, apparently, only suffered 3 years depreciation. Doesn't sound like a bargain to me.

What would be the WBAC offer on it?

Poor ad - lazy photos and description.

Looks quite nice, but no dual climate, cruise or flappy paddles, or Nav?. And, high mileage - bet it doesn't have FPSH.

May be a good buy at £20k?

Rockin ,

Jeez have you seen the prices on the rest, up to 34k for 2014s. 😳

Slightly wary of that. Can’t quite put my finger on it. Flappy paddles can be retro fitted so that’s fixable. If I was selling a car I’d sort out the scratches first. It may say something about the owner and how the rest of the car’s been cared for.

Bear in mind those are "asking prices" not "selling prices" and some of the cars have been up for sale for a long time. The world is full of optimistic sellers.

Did you check out WBAC?

A quick trade check shows that its current owner has had it since August 2018 and it has a finance agreement running on it. All information freely available on HPI.

It has quite a high spec for a 2.7...Chrono/PASM and looks like it has a Sports Exhaust button.

Got to be worth a look if you are close to it.

Mileage would make me seriously reconsider. If i'm spending 20k plus on a car i don't give a st what brand it is, it aint going to have more than 40k

Suspect car and crappy advert imo.

Owner says had car most of its life but check confirms only since 2018??

Scratches....why? Moving abroad bullst.

No pcm or extended leather. Multifunction wheel unpopular most want flappy paddles and changing this is expensive.

High mileage and non Porsche history are killers.

Try a £15k cheeky bid but even at that price I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

I agree the advert isn't the best, but a 15k offer? Whats the point wasting your own time. Realistically if he is desperate to sell you may steal it a smidge over 20k which with the spec of the car it may be well worth it. Not many well specced 981's around at that money.
It's one you need to look at and make your own mind up what its worth.

Why would you assume that's bullst? I was offered a car at a very good price by someone moving to Australia, I paid 30% of the price I sold it for a few years later.

Some people do actually move overseas.

Awesome color / wheel combo - looks a lot like my old one before I upgraded (to a much improved car... smile.)

Confirms my view, and the view of others on here, that the right price for the car as a private purchase is probably around £20k.

I wouldn't waste time trying to low-ball it at £15k.
