My first Porsche

So after much ummhing and arrhing I bought my first Porsche today
Its something i have really wanted to do for years
A lovely black 2006 987.1 2,7 manual 56k
Taxed and insured -very reasonable for both actually
Hopefully picking it up tomorrow
Decided on the Box rather than Cayman as I thought I would miss top down experience as this is my weekend summer toy
Will need some sedation tonight as im really excited
Went for a 2,7 as after much reading and i thought this would is best compromise -and it feels plenty quick enough for me
ie for pootling around the empty B roads where I live
Bought private from a really nice genuine bloke who is a Porsche enthusiast
Bring on the warm weather

My first was a cayenne aka the pig! Hoping to get my hands on a 987 cayman later on this year or early next.

We started with the same model Boxster, loved it. Since been through a 997 C4S Cab and now a Gen II turbo + 2 Cayennes.
Its a great brand, enjoy the journey.

Car safely back home now
Have to say this car feels like quality inside and out considering its 13 yo
Much easier to drive than my Z4MR
Only thing im trying to get used to is not being able to see the engine
