Do I need to take the car to an OPC for special Porsche tyre valves so that the TPMS SYSTEM continues to work normally OR Will any reputable tyre replacing garage be able to use their normal valves without causing a TPMS problem ?

Also any other specific points I should look out for ..... eg jacking points , locking wheel nuts ?

Thank you

I’ve never had to take the car in to an OPC for new tyres. Any outfit should be able to change them, I believe they just keep the existing valves.

Thanks Schmed

Is there anything specific I should tell the garage so that they don’t damage the valve when replacing the tyres ?

Thanks

I had a guy change my tyres on the drive recently. The TPMS sensor is part of the valve and it stays fixed onto the wheel when the tyre is removed.

So should just be a case of a normal tyre change without any valves.
