I have a Cayman S 2010 manual, this morning I noticed that the automatic speed control indicator light was on on the dashboard and wasn't going out even when stationary. Have I triggered this somehow by accident? I had some gremlins at the beginning of the year when my spoiler wouldn't drop for a few days then mysteriously started behaving again but everything is fine now, wondering if that's related.
It's a bit annoying and I went into the menu and saw it was set to 31mph but I didn't set it and this is the first time it has come on...

Update - I've been in the car today and the light is still on all the time. Does anyone know if this is a fault and can I clear it via my local indie when it goes in for an MOT later this month? Don't want another engine problem lol!

Have you got cruise control? If so, press the button on the end of the cruise stalk.

if you haven't, it sounds like the instrument cluster needs re-coding to remove cruise from the options.

Thanks Richard, that's sorted it. I've not used the cruise control function (it doesn't really go on motorways) so had no idea that was related to the speed control! Cheers
