Where do you position the axle stands?

Hi,

I'm getting my 987.2 wheels refurbished next week. So, I need to take the wheels off for a few days.

I have 4 axle stands and two trolley jacks.

I'm happy jacking the car (have a pad for the jack), but where is the best place to position the axle stands?

I put the front stands on the area just inboard of the jacking points (with a little block of wood) where there is an exposed area of the floor that is reinforced.

The rears I put under the rear subframe fore/aft bracing, again with a little block of wood as protection.
