i have been looking at stepping into a 981 GTS pdk for a while but have always hanquered after a 981 GT4.

My major gripe is the weight of the clutch on a GT4. Does anyone know of any ways to reduce its weight ?

Its more for 'her' to be able to drive when occassiionally needed hence the stance on the pdk GTS.

i think GT4s are becoming sensibly priced and for performance i think its worth the overs on a GTS -hence why i am hoping there is a solution...

Speak to Steve (Technical Director) at JZM Porsche about this. He'll be able to advise.

I expect the answer will be at a cost you won't like.

One of the reasons I never really fell in love with my GT4 was the clutch weight. I tried fitting a stiffer spring (from the 991) to the pedal box as the set up is a helper spring that doubles as a return spring as the pedal passes 'over centre'.

This resulted with a slight improvement to the effort to depress the pedal but ruined the feel at the point just after the clutch has engaged.

Just a heads up if someone suggests this mod., be careful.
