What tyres do people recommend these days?

Just acquired a 2.5 litre 986, its a rare factory colour and I am delighted with it. It will need new tyres soon, what are people using these days? I was thinking of PS4, but open to suggestions. Any recommendations please?

I took some almost new Pirelli P Zero's off my 981 Boxter 'S', and fitted Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric. They have done about 20,000 miles now, and still have 4/5 mm of tread left. The most noticeable improvement was the noise factor, so much quieter than the P Zero's. I haven't used PS4's, but i think the general consensus taking, cost, wear, noise factor and longevity into account, Eagle F1's are hard to beat.
Much of my mileage has been clocked up on European road trips, at sensible speeds.
