For those who don’t have the time to watch the video...
- they plan on transforming the car as close as possible to the original 50’s 718
- they specced the car to be as plain (aesthetically) as possible, to keep it traditional
- callipers are PCCB albeit black (“some loophole on the configurator”)
- they plan on reupholstering the seats in old weathered brown leather
- decals to be added similar to the old 718
- exhausts to be changed for a more raw sound

Loophole in the configurator... tick the box marked ‘PCCB in black’. Wow.
I don’t really like their stuff. The speccing video was painful for the fact the two Porsche salesmen came across as clueless. Why you’d seek their advice instead of just looking at the configurator and sorting your own spec out I don’t know.
Spec the classic interior, put the numbers on and you’ve basically achieved what they want to do there or thereabouts.

Going back to the post surely the 987spyder is the best option to go retro 50s spider
Agree - I will stick with Steve Sutcliffe, Catchpole, Chris Harris, and a few others. But it does demonstrate about the power of YouTube. That is probably why they got a car. Not real patrol heads - I mean pistonheads 😆Going back to the post surely the 987spyder is the best option to go retro 50s spider

They got a Spyder because they've bought a number of cars from that OPC. The most underrated You Tuber has to be Janko Lind's channel. The quality/passion vs views/subscribers doesn't equate IMHO.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fO6c_nqEyog
