Found a 981 Cayman with the below specs:

Carrara White, 20" Carrera Classics, PSE, Sports tail pipes, black leather alcantara, heated seats, PDK, Sports Chrono plus, Sport design wheel, bluetooth chome, colour coded vents and bumper, cruise control, parking sensors

for £26,000. The only issue is its a 13 reg and has 50,000miles. Is this a good price? And how will this hold its value if I put 10k miles on a year for the next 2?

Price sounds about right if it’s a 2.9cc, Chrono pack helps a lot, don’t worry about the mileage as long as it’s been properly serviced by Porsche or a well known specialist

It's not the S (2.7l). Would the age put you off at all?

It's just 6 years old, what's the issue? Mine is a 13, and looks like new.

No issue really - it's just you can get 15 plates for a very similar price and I'm wondering if in a few years time a 70k 13 plate is going to be very different in price to a 15 plate 50k.

If 15 plates are similar money then that would be the obvious choice, although spec comparison would come into it (mine is excellent which would be more important than age/mileage to me).

sorry should have said they are lower spec. Basically its Spec vs Age/Miles - the age old 2nd hand car buyers conundrum but am just wondering what peoples best guesses would be what will be more sort after in a few years time.

Yeh this is exactly it. I mean for me spec is more important but when it comes to resale...

Buy which one YOU like the most. They will both depreciate. People are hung up on mileage though with Porsche (but then they will want high spec too!!) It's always a nightmare when it comes to selling so just buy what you like and enjoy it.
